Packaging Philosophy
We have been safely packaging items for over 18 years now. There are three employees on staff providing more than 24 years combined experience. We have had one paid claim in the past year (2008) (and that was because UPS lost a package, not because it was broken.)
Other stores sometimes charge extra fees for services and items that should be included in the price. I'll never forget: once, I went to a florist and picked out some flowers. Then, the florist charged me an 'arranging fee' to put the flowers nicely into a vase. I was extremely surprised at this and vowed not to charge erroneous fees to my customers.
-- For example: To package a laptop, it costs $23.40 plus tax. This includes the box, the peanuts, bubble wrap, anti-static bag, tape, and our packaging expertise. We can normally package anything in only a few minutes.
-- If you were to purchase the bubble wrap and box and everything separately, it would cost more.
-- We do not have self-serve packaging services available here. We are happy to do it for you. This cuts down on broken packages, missing packages, opened packages, and all other sorts of claims.
